Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Haryana on July 29, 2026, issued the Haryana Municipal (Amendment) Ordinance, 2026, further to amend the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973.

In clause (i) of Section 200, the words and punctuation “or licensed,” and “or licensed” shall be omitted.

In effect, the amendment removes the references to “licensed”/“licence” from Section 200(i) of the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973.
